Pre and post-natal, restorative and vinyasa flow yoga and mindfulness in east and north London

An east London based yoga teacher with British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance accreditation, I specialise in pregnancy yoga (12 weeks +), postnatal yoga (from 6 weeks postpartum), breath-led mindful movement (vinyasa flow), and active rest (restorative yoga).

Yoga can help us live more calmly and openly so that we can navigate life’s challenges with more ease and grace. For me, it does this by helping me connect to my breath and the body I live in, again and again. This helps me get out of my own way, and creates a space - on my mat, or off it - to find my way back home within myself. It’s a space where I can ask questions and be inquisitive, with a sense of freedom. It’s a space we co-create when we practice together.

I first encountered yoga almost twenty years ago and have been teaching for 8 years now. I’ve studied with some wonderful teachers on my journey so far and am always learning. My intention is to create a nurturing and accessible environment for people of all experience and ability levels to explore, enjoy yoga and take what they need from it.

What students say

“Sian’s teaching encourages me to breathe, move and gives my mind and body what they need. A weekly hour of joy on my pregnancy journey.” - Sofia

"I leave with a big smile and healed body." - Eva

“I started doing yoga with Sian when I was pregnant. It was a fantastic and really special way to connect with my bump, take time for myself, and prepare for labour. It built my confidence and helped to make my pregnancy an empowering experience. I get so much out of classes, mentally and physically, and I was inspired to carry on and do postnatal yoga too!” - Kate

“Sian’s class really sets me up for the day. Her playful approach feels fun and welcoming and has meant that some poses I’d struggled with have finally clicked. I always come away with some new techniques or ways of thinking that I can feed back into my own practice.” - Laura

"Sian is great at encouraging and accommodating adaptations for all different bodies. I would highly recommend her classes - a great reminder to slow down and breathe!" - Vivian
