A day to be looked after and held by other mothers on your pregnancy journey. Fully immerse yourself in connecting with your baby and nourishing your body, mind and spirit in a small group, hosted by us, experienced birth workers and space holders Sian and Veronika. We have created this day retreat to help you feel more grounded, relaxed and confident as you approach birth, your 4th trimester and new motherhood.
Veronika and I have been running our embodied birth workshop for two years and have long dreamt of being able to support groups of pregnant women like this for an incredibly memorable day. We have been consistently asked to run a postpartum-focussed session, and have made preparing for postpartum a key part of this special day.
An outline of the day:
Morning - Opening circle, Pregnancy yoga with Sian to land in and awaken your body, Birth preparation session relevant for all types of birth.
Lunch - Delicious, healthy lunch together (vegetarian, and all dietary requirements can be catered for), with snacks and drinks available all day.
Afternoon - Explore how to set yourself up for a positive postpartum and prepare for the best start to motherhood: resourced, knowledgeable and surrounded by a village. Everyone will create a personal postpartum plan to take home.
Closing session - Sound bath and relaxation to support deep rest and help you integrate the day in a beautiful, gentle way and honour your own pregnancy experience.
Suitable from 12 weeks of pregnancy onwards. No yoga experience necessary. We will provide you with some self enquiry prompts in advance to help you get into a great headspace.
