What I teach
Yoga has something to offer us all. It can ease aches and pains; help us feel more relaxed and present, sleep better and breathe more easily - which benefits not just us, and also the people in our lives. Breath linked with movement helps to place the distractions all around us to one side, while physical poses and dynamic (flowing) sequences help to improve our mobility, flexibility and posture, as well as building strength and muscle tone, enabling prana (life force) to flow more easily through our bodies.
Sian’s style is a nourishing, mindful, breath-led flow. Her classes are fun and inclusive, a space where students can be curious to connect with themselves through inquiry. Each session works towards exploring a key concept or certain poses in greater depth. Her aim is for students to feel more grounded, attuned to their breath and aware of their own body by the end of class.
Recovering from an injury, can't make it to a class, or just prefer a more one-to-one environment? Visit my studio or I can come to you for more one-to-one or small group classes (for example, you and a partner or friend). Can't get out of the office? I can come to your office, business or school before or after work. I love teaching groups who are more used to working or studying together - it can really bring colleagues together in a new way, help reduce stress and boost motivation.
